Strange

So, we had our baby monitor on downstairs the other night when we heard a baby crying. Assuming it was Philip, Richie went upstairs to check on him. All of the sudden, I heard another woman talking to the crying baby through the monitor! When Richie got upstairs, he discovered Philip's baby monitor was shut off in his bedroom. We could hear clear as day this woman and her baby. It was so strange. Somehow our monitor picked up her monitor and we could hear everything they were saying. I felt bad for her because she sounded like a stressed out mom trying to get her baby down. I am ashamed to admit that it was very intriguing & I was tempted to keep listening but my honest & ever so noble husband made me shut it off! It's a good thing he did because I would have been embarrassed if it were me on the other end of it.

We'll have to start being more careful of what we talk about when we have our baby monitor on!

The interview..

It went really well. They asked him to come back for a second which will be tomorrow or Friday. He really wants the job. Thanks for all the prayers!

A few things...

Richie has an interview at Cargill in Elk River tomorrow! It is his #1 pick for a job (not that he's too picky right now) so please say a prayer for him!
My mom wanted to see an updated picture of Phili so I just took this one of him and Richie.
Also, I have to do updos at Simonson's. I have always been terrified of updos so I've been practicing on myself. I had Richie take a few pictures so I could send them to my mom. You can't see the updo very well, but my face was way too hilarious not to show you in this one!

A night with "The Cheech"

I don't know if you know this but Richie is pretty much "The coolest babysitter in the world". His words....Not mine. We had all the kids for a few hours last week and had a blast. Richie's sister and her son Noah came and joined the fun too. Here are some pics. No wonder all the kids like him so much. He gets to be the crazy one while I have to do all the cleaning! Excuse the MESSY family room. Everything was in complete disarray.

"Dada"

Phili said his first word!!! He said Dada yesterday and now that's all he wants to do. When we try and get him to say Mama, he just giggles and says Dada. I love that kid! I am happy that Dada was his first word. I get to bond with him so much while I nurse him, I think it's great that he said Dada. Richie of course loves it =)
